Over the past 15 years, I’ve been lucky enough to work as a broadcaster in many roles. While in college at Washington State University (Go Cougs!) I began my career doing play-by-play for Pullman High School football & basketball. After graduating, I hopped across the state border and was the voice of the University of Idaho basketball team. During my stint with the Vandals, I doubled as a field reporter for KQQQ news radio in Pullman. Following seven years on the Palouse, my hometown of Portland came calling and I returned to the Rose City to co-host Portland’s Afternoon News on KXL radio. During my two and a half years I not only anchored from 4pm-7pm every weekday, we were top-3 in our timeslot, and I also won two AP awards for breaking news coverage. Being the sports junkie I am, it was natural that I would return to the toy store. For four seasons I co-hosted Blazers Outsiders, which was the postgame show following every Portland Trail Blazers game on NBC Sports Northwest.
